Findra Privacy Policy

Shanghai Umore Network Technology Co., Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our") develops and operates Findra, a macOS file manager (Bundle ID: cc.umore.ifinder, the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information and the choices available to you.

1. Scope

This policy applies when you download, install, and use Findra from the Mac App Store or other official channels. The App does not require account registration for core features.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 What We Do Not Collect

Findra is a local-first file manager. During normal use, we do not:

Create user accounts or require sign-in;
Upload file contents you browse or manage to our servers;
Run ads, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs;
Collect precise geolocation;
Access contacts, photo library, microphone, or camera.

Note: The current release has no proprietary backend. Subscription validation uses Apple StoreKit on your device.

Feedback is saved locally only and is not automatically uploaded in the current release.

2.3 Purchases via Apple

Pro subscriptions and lifetime purchases are handled by Apple App Store / StoreKit. We read entitlement status on-device only and do not receive full payment credentials. See the Apple Privacy Policy.

2.4 Diagnostics

When you copy diagnostics or submit feedback, we may include app version, bundle ID, macOS version, language, and timestamp—not file lists or contents.

3. How We Use Information

We use information only to provide and improve the App: remember preferences, validate Pro entitlements, and save local feedback. We do not use it for targeted ads or sell personal information.

4. Features and System Interactions

When you take action, the App may interact with macOS for file access, pasteboard, launching external apps (Enter App), Quick Look / Get Info / Share, global hotkeys (Pro), and AppleScript. Except for Apple's subscription infrastructure, file contents are not sent to our servers.

Pro pricing (U.S. reference; App Store prevails): $5.99/month, $49.99/year, $128 lifetime. Manage refunds and renewals through your Apple ID.

6. Sharing and Third Parties

We share information only with Apple (StoreKit), external apps you choose, or when required by law. The App does not integrate Firebase, Google Analytics, Sentry, or similar SDKs.

7. Retention and Deletion

Local data remains on your Mac until you delete the App or related files. Subscriptions are managed by Apple; uninstalling does not cancel an active subscription.

8. Security

The App uses macOS App Sandbox. Please also protect your Mac user account and disk access.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information.

10. International Users

The App is provided by Shanghai Umore Network Technology Co., Ltd. in China. Apple purchases are subject to Apple's global terms.

11. Changes

We may update this policy and revise the "Last Updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
